Highlight Mix from the 2016 SEBA Atlanta College Showcase
Here is a highlight mix put together by ReelTalk Media featuring action from the 11th Annual SEBA Atlanta College Showcase Camp held on March 17, 2016.
2016 SEBA Atlanta College Showcase (Recap and Top Performers)
The 2016 edition of the SEBA Atlanta College Showcase was held March 17, 2016 on the campus of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. This 11th annual Spring Exposure Camp featured a full capacity roster of 180 players from all throughout Georgia, as well as from the states of Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama, South Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. The Event had a deep talent pool of Senior prospects looking to showcase their talents to the College Coaches and scouts in attendance; as well as an impressive number of 2017 and 2018 prospects who used the stage to demonstrate their abilities.
The Showcase provided a complete and well rounded day of competition, development, inspiration, and exposure. During the morning session, the players participated in fundamental skills stations conducted by an excellent group of top high school, travel ball, and skill development coaches. Following the morning stations, Coach Courtney Brooks, who led Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy (SACA) squad to National prominence and State Titles in 2004 and 2006, delivered a rousing and memorable speech which captivated all in attendance. Coach Brooks passionately spoke on the importance of pursuing dreams, sacrifice, discipline, gratitude, and faith. At Mid-day, the players moved into the 5-on-5 games, where they competed in three (3) full-court games with their respective camp team throughout the afternoon and early evening. The event concluded with an exciting and intense "Top 30" All-Star Game, which was decided in overtime on the final possession. The well played finale was a fitting cap to a highly successful camp.

Desmond Webb (6’ 4, SG, Carrollton; 2016) - Desmond is a big-time scorer who knows how to put the ball in the bucket. He uses his length, strength, and body control to finish extremely well off the drive. He shoots the three ball well and is a nightmare for opposing defenders to match-up as he overpowers smaller players and blows past bigger forwards. Will be a steal for a College program looking for a scoring wing.
Kalin Johnson (6’ 1, CG, Gasden City, Alabama; 2016) - Kalin came into camp with much endorsement as he averaged 24 ppg and was named named 1st Team All-State in Alabama’s (Largest) 7A Classification this past season. His play at the camp backed up that buzz, as he was a scoring machine throughout the day. He is an excellent outside shooter who lit up the nets from beyond the arc. He also demonstrated nice athleticism and balance in scoring off the bounce. Excellent player.
Jeremy Joyner (6’ 7, Forward, Charles Drew; 2016) – Emerging forward who had a good showing. Jeremy has several very good post moves and touch around the rim. He can knock-down face up mid-range jumper. Is aggressive and assertive, while still remaining under-control. He is a strong rebounder and protects the lane on defense; blocking and contesting numerous shots. .
Xavier Johnson (6’ 4, Wing, Tucker; 2016) - High flying and powerfully built wing-forward who makes major impact with athleticism. Impressed coaches and spectators with several impressive power dunks and blocked shots. Plays bigger than height and is capable of effectively guarding taller players on defense. Very good offensive rebounder. Named 1st Team All-Region in very competitive 2-AAAAAA.
Jovante Lee (6’ 1, PG, Northview, Alabama; 2016) - Very talented all-around lead guard. Demonstrated a good looking outside stroke and uses his athleticism to get into the paint and create opportunities for himself and others. Is a very good finisher at the basket. Aggressive on ball defender. Was named 2nd Team All-State in Alabama’s Class AAAAAA this past year.
Jason Morrison (6’ 4, CG, Wesleyan; 2016) - Jason is an impressive player who can do many things on the court. He is a very good athlete and scores well at rim. He is a capable three point shooter . He excelled on the defensive end of the floor; guarding the ball well and had several crowd pleasing blocked shots. He plays the game with passion and intensity and has excellent upside. Named All-Region as both a Junior and Senior.
Jawaun White (6’ 1,CG, Arnold, Florida; 2016) - Standout Guard who made his travel from Panama City, Florida worthwhile, as he played extremely well throughout the day. Jawaun demonstrated an impressive all-around skill set and put up lots of points, scoring from 3, mid-range, and at the rim. He has a strong, athletic build which he used to overtake opponents. He averaged 20 ppg this past season and is a career 1000 point scorer at Arnold.
Robert Kelly (6’ 7, Wing, Cumberland Christian; 2016) - Long and Active wing with good potential. Demonstrated leaping ability with an impressive dunk in traffic. Good scorer in the paint and mid-range, with capable three point shot. Excels on offensive glass and keeping ball alive. Runs floor well in transition. Was named All-State and was a McDonalds All-American Nominee this past year while leading Cumberland Christian to Georgia Independent League State Title.
Xavier Bailey (6’ 0, PG, Coosa; 2016) - Xavier was one of the camp’s top all-around guards, as he demonstrated excellent scoring and passing ability. He has quick first step and attacks the ball well off the bounce. He finishes consistently at the rim around bigger players, and has a solid outside stroke. Plays good on ball defense. Named Region Player of Year this past year and is 1,000 point career scorer.
Michael Green (6’ 4, SG, Salem; 2016) - Long playmaking combo guard with good size. He consistently made things happen on the floor. He has good court vision and is a good distributor. He can get in the paint and finish with pull-up or drive. Aggressive defender who forces turnovers. Good potential.
Jordan Gaines (6’ 7, Forward, Tri-Cities; 2016) - Athletic and long prospect with excellent upside. Jordan runs the floor well and finishes above the rim with impressive dunks. Seems to have gained on-court confidence since we saw him last at the SEBA Shootout back in the Fall. Is very active on the offensive glass, and alters many shots on the defensive end. With continued development and increased upper body strength, he has excellent potential for the next level.
Everett “ EJ” Card (6’ 3, SG, St. James School, AL; 2016) - Impressive prospect with good skill set and athleticism. Takes the ball to the rim strong and scored on a series of acrobatic finishes. Also exhibited a good looking three point shot both off the dribble and spotting up. Strong rebounder. Game should translate well to next level. Named All-State in Alabama’s Class 4A this past season.
D’jimon Wilson (6’ 3, SG, Sprayberry; 2016)- D’jimon is a very athletic and energetic wing who has made dramatic improvement as a player over the past 18 months. Has a good offensive skill-set with ability to drive or shoot from the outside. Excellent on ball-defender. One of his biggest strengths is his big “motor” where he is all over the floor making steals, blocking shots, and converting putbacks. Was named All-Region this past year and with his excellent work ethic, will only continue to improve.
Monkeize Moore (5’ 10, PG, Crawford County; 2016) - Very Quick sparkplug guard who continuously made plays throughout the day. Is very good in transition and in pushing the ball on break. Is an ace distributor who is good at drawing and dishing. Sets up teammates for easy scores. Has also has good scoring ability in the paint and from the outside.
Amir Butcher (6’ 3, SG, Tucker; 2016) - Prospect who plays with a lot of energy on both ends of the court. He is an offensive slasher who gets to the rim and finishes. Was very active on defense, playing passing lanes and causing defelctions. Good rebounder from the wing position.
Chris Rogers (6’ 6, Forward, Tri-Cities; 2016) - Forward with strong build and soft hands; scores on the low block and has good touch around the basket. He is a good rebounder on both sides of the floor and provides good interior defensive presence. Above average student in classroom.

Tavias Fagan (6’ 3, Wing, Upson-Lee; 2018) - One of the top Underclassman players in attendance, Tavias is a player with a bright future. He is a long, slashing wing with good athleticism. Defensively, he has good versatility and rebounding ability. Had several impressive blocked shots. With continued development, he has a chance to be one the State’s top wing players in Class of 2018.
Justin Holliday (6’ 3, Wing, South Cobb; 2016) - Athletic wing with very good length, he runs the floor and scores well in transition. Attacks the basket hard from the wing and uses body well to finish. Showed a consistent mid-range jump shot. Makes plays on the offensive glass.
Lane Foster ( 6’ 2; PG; Berkmar; 2016) - Well-rounded lead guard with good speed; Sees floor and makes those around him better. Is a strong defensive player; Excellent student with 4.0 GPA and 28 ACT which makes him an ideal target for academic elite programs looking for immediate impact guard.
Wil Chambliss (6’ 0, SG, Vidalia; 2016) - Scoring guard was one of the best shooters in Camp. He buried three points shots from all over the floor. Reads screens well and moves without the ball. Plays within himself and with good skill-set. Named Region “Player of the Year” in Georgia’s 2-AA this past year.
Tracy Sailem (6’ 2, PG, Jeff Davis; 2016) – Impressive lead guard with good size for the position. Was one of the top overall distributors in camp, sees floor and creates for others. Has quick first step and gets by defender into paint, where he finishes well. Plays aggressive on ball defense and picked up numerous steals.
Additional Camp Standouts
2016 Guards
The Camp roster featured a deep and talented pool of Senior Guard Talent. In addition to the players listed above, there were a number of others who impressed with their play. Marcel Ellis (5’ 11, PG, Kennesaw Mountain; 2016) is a good looking guard prospect who showed ability to hit the trey and has a nice step back jumper. The All-Region selection has a tight handle, can create off the dribble, and provide instant offensive production. Ricardo Knox (6’ 1, SG, Alpharetta, 2016) is a playmaking guard with good quickness and length. He sees the floor well and has good scoring ability, especially off the dribble. Roderick Melton (6’ 1, PG, Northview, Alabama; 2016) is an athletic point guard with good size and skill set. He creates well for himself and his teammates and is a tough finisher at the rim. Post Grad Ari Zorns (5’ 8, PG, Mt. Zion, Post Grad) made life miserable for opponents with his quickness and ability to get in the paint and assist to teammates for easy buckets, or to score himself. The former 1st Team All-Region performer at Mt. Zion has four years of eligibility left and could help a program looking for a quality point guard. Joshua Faulkner (6’ 0, PG, Berkmar; 2016) is a very explosive guard who hurts the defense with penetration and has a nice pull-up jumper. He is an athletic on ball defender and is a standout in the classroom with a 3.5 GPA. level. Mitchell Hollis (5’ 11, CG, Pope; 2016) is an excellent three point shooter who plays with great intensity; he brings many intangibles to the floor and is an attractive target for higher academic programs looking for perimeter shooting and leadership. Chris Curlett (5’ 10, CG, Norcross; 2016) is an impressive guard with good athleticism who can score, pass, and make plays on the defensive end. Leroy Jones (5’ 10, PG, Berkmar; 2016) is a tough, physical , and battle tested guard who plays excellent on ball defense and is a consistent shooting threat from beyond the arc. Pedro Costa (6’ 3, PG, Furtah Prep; 2016) is a natural floor general with great court vision. He knows how to run an offense and create scoring opportunities for others and himself. He is a first rate student who should be evaluated by high academic schools needing a lead guard. Walter Shaw (6’ 0, CG, Holly Hill Academy, South Carolina; 2016) is an explosive scoring guard who averaged 27 ppg at Holy Hill this season. He created very well off the dribble throughout the Camp and scored on a variety of pull-up jumpers, treys, and acrobatic drives to the rim. Ricky Shuford (6’ 2, SG, Prattville, AL; 2016) is an intriguing guard prospect with athleticism and a strong frame. He shot the ball well from the outside and can finish above the rim in transition. Jaylen Britt (6’ 0, PG, Saks, AL; 2016) is a guard with the ability to score in bunches and was one of the better outside shooters in attendance. Maxwell Chester (6’ 1, CG, Woodward Academy; 2016) is a balanced guard who was automatic from the beyond the arc as a spot up shooter. The All-Region selection has good strength and uses body well on drives to the rim. Cesar Delatorre (6’ 0, CG, Jefferson, FL) is a guard with the ability to run a team and stretch the defense with his outside shooting ability. He is an excellent defender on and off the ball and played a major role for Tampa Jefferson squad that advanced to State Final Four this season. .
2017 & 2018 Guards
While the collection of Senior Guards at the event was very strong, the 2017 and 2018 Classes also had some very impressive Guard prospects to keep an eye on. Eddie Figueroa (5’ 10, PG, Sprayberry; 2017) is an electrifying guard with excellent penetration skills. He finishes very well off the drive and uses his quickness and dribble moves to create scoring opportunities. Carson Culverhouse (5’ 11, CG, Carrollton; 2017) has a sweet shooting stroke and can create his own shot very well off the dribble. His wingspan allows him to play bigger than his height and plays with great energy and presence. Michael Foster (6’ 0, CG, Heirway Christian; 2017) is a high potential scoring guard with a very quick first step and the strength to finish at the rim and in the lane. He also demonstrated a willingness to get others involved and has the ability to play excellent full court defense on opposing ball handlers. Patrick Fries (6’ 0, CG, Furtah Prep) is an excellent shooter who can stretch defense with his range. He plays with a high basketball IQ and is a standout in the classroom. Markeion Jones (5’ 11, CG, Ridgeland High; 2017) is a scoring combo guard who put on a shooting display. He was on fire throughout the day, knocking down jumpers and long threes all over the court. Juwan Blanton (5’11, PG, East Rutherford, NC; 2017) demonstrated a complete package as a lead guard and impressed with his ability to make his teammates better and shoot the ball from beyond the arc. Roscoe Spruill (5’ 7, PG, Cumberland Christian; 2018) is a lightning quick lead guard who score at the rim and distribute. He has excellent handle and looked good pushing the ball on the break and dishing out assists in transition. Adama Kpaan (6’ 2, PG, Rabun-Gap; 2018) is an athletic young guard with a very bright future. He gets to the rim very well and thrives in uptempo style of play; while playing with a bigtime motor on the defensive end of the court. Zach Pina (5’ 11, PG, Starrs Mill; 2018) is an impressive young guard to keep an eye on. He ran his camp team well as a floor general and has dual ability to both score and create for others. Tahj Jones (5’ 9, PG, Vidalia; 2018) is a good looking young guard who penetrates well and makes plays for those around him. He thrived in transition and will look to build upon a strong sophomore year in which he was named All-Region.
2016 & 2017 Wings
Elijah Alston (6’ 4, Wing, Brunswick; 2016) was one of the bigger surprise players in the event. He caught the eye of many of the coaches and evaluators with his scoring, high energy, and athleticism on both ends of the floor. His ability combined with his excellent academic credentials make him an intriguing prospect for academic elite schools looking to sign a versatile wing this Spring. Milan Nikolic (6’ 3, Wing, Furtah Prep; 2016) is a versatile player with very good upper body strength. He showed excellent shooting ability off the dribble and plays the game the right way and with good poise. Fellow Furtah Prep teammate Milos Jovicevic (6’ 4, Wing, Furtah Prep; 2016) is a player with a good inside-out skill set. He is effective at taking the ball to the basket, scoring in the low post, and from the outside. Both players played major roles in Furtah’s advancement to the GISA State Championship Game. Javis Diaz (6’ 4, Wing, Duluth, 2016) is a physically strong wing with good athleticism who runs the floor well in transition and plays with excellent intensity. The All-Gwinnett selection is a versatile defender who can match up with guards and bigger forwards. JaTahj Malcolm (6’ 3, Wing, Walnut Grove; 2016) is a lanky and energetic wing with good leaping ability. He has good handle, attacks the rim aggressively, and makes good things happen with his high octane motor. Rendull Middleton (6’ 3, Wing, Orangeburg-Wilkinson, SC; 2016) is an workhorse who plays with great intensity and physicality. He is very strong on the boards and scores around the rim. Jalen Brown (6’ 5, Post Grad) is an all-around athlete with excellent leaping ability. He plays hard and made a strong impression on sides of the floor. He has four years of college eligibility. . Charvez Hobson (6’ 3, CG, Booker T Washington Magnet, AL; 2016) is an athletic and lengthy wing who can handle the ball and create his own shot. He was named Honorable Mention All-State for a tough BTW Magnet squad. Austin Strickland (6’ 4, Forward, Eagleville, TN; 2017) is an intelligent and facilitating wing with good leaping ability. He consistently knocked down mid-range jumpers and finished around the hoop.
2016 & 2017 Forwards
Randall Legros (6’ 8, Forward, Allatoona; 2016) is a late blooming big man with size and upside potential. His best ball is ahead of him, as he runs the floor well and crashes the offensive boards hard. He is at his best defensively, where he uses his length to protect the rim and alter shots. He played a significant role in Allatoona’s 31-1 record and State Title game appearance. Neeko Gainey (6’ 5, Forward, Gainesville, FL; 2016) is an active forward who aggressively attacks the basket and picks up a lot of buckets on follow-ups and second chance points. Jaylen Waters (6’ 5, Forward, Roswell; 2016) is an under the radar prospect who was limited to the final 10 games of senior year due to GHSA eligibility constraints. He exhibited good leaping ability and instincts in the paint, and has the ability to finish well at and above the rim. Chandler Davis (6’ 8, Forward; Salem; 2016) is a strong post player with good finishing ability in the paint. Plays with good intensity, leadership, and is big on the boards. William “LB” Jones (6’ 5, Forward, Windsor Academy; 2016) is a high flying forward who had several impressive dunks. He is a very good offensive rebounder and solid mid-range shooter. Francisco Mediavilla (6’ 7, Forward, Tampa Robinson, FL; 2016) is a promising forward with excellent length and leaping ability. He runs the floor very well for his size and finishes with authority. He was one of the top shot blockers in camp, blocking and altering numerous attempts. Averaged a double-double this past season.

Carson Culverhouse (5’ 11, CG, Carrollton; 2017) has a sweet shooting stroke and can create his own shot very well off the dribble. His wingspan allows him to play bigger than his height and plays with great energy and presence. Michael Foster (6’ 0, CG, Heirway Christian; 2017) is a high potential scoring guard with a very quick first step and the strength to finish at the rim and in the lane. He also demonstrated a willingness to get others involved and has the ability to play excellent full court defense on opposing ball handlers. Patrick Fries (6’ 0, CG, Furtah Prep) is an excellent shooter who can stretch defense with his range. He plays with a high basketball IQ and is a standout in the classroom. Markeion Jones (5’ 11, CG, Ridgeland High; 2017) is a scoring combo guard who put on a shooting display. He was on fire throughout the day, knocking down jumpers and long threes all over the court. Juwan Blanton (5’11, PG, East Rutherford, NC; 2017) demonstrated a complete package as a lead guard and impressed with his ability to make his teammates better and shoot the ball from beyond the arc. Roscoe Spruill (5’ 7, PG, Cumberland Christian; 2018) is a lightning quick lead guard who score at the rim and distribute. He has excellent handle and looked good pushing the ball on the break and dishing out assists in transition. Adama Kpaan (6’ 2, PG, Rabun-Gap; 2018) is an athletic young guard with a very bright future. He gets to the rim very well and thrives in uptempo style of play; while playing with a bigtime motor on the defensive end of the court. Zach Pina (5’ 11, PG, Starrs Mill; 2018) is an impressive young guard to keep an eye on. He ran his camp team well as a floor general and has dual ability to both score and create for others. Tahj Jones (5’ 9, PG, Vidalia; 2018) is a good looking young guard who penetrates well and makes plays for those around him. He thrived in transition and will look to build upon a strong sophomore year in which he was named All-Region.
2016 & 2017 Wings
Elijah Alston (6’ 4, Wing, Brunswick; 2016) was one of the bigger surprise players in the event. He caught the eye of many of the coaches and evaluators with his scoring, high energy, and athleticism on both ends of the floor. His ability combined with his excellent academic credentials make him an intriguing prospect for academic elite schools looking to sign a versatile wing this Spring. Milan Nikolic (6’ 3, Wing, Furtah Prep; 2016) is a versatile player with very good upper body strength. He showed excellent shooting ability off the dribble and plays the game the right way and with good poise. Fellow Furtah Prep teammate Milos Jovicevic (6’ 4, Wing, Furtah Prep; 2016) is a player with a good inside-out skill set. He is effective at taking the ball to the basket, scoring in the low post, and from the outside. Both players played major roles in Furtah’s advancement to the GISA State Championship Game. Javis Diaz (6’ 4, Wing, Duluth, 2016) is a physically strong wing with good athleticism who runs the floor well in transition and plays with excellent intensity. The All-Gwinnett selection is a versatile defender who can match up with guards and bigger forwards. JaTahj Malcolm (6’ 3, Wing, Walnut Grove; 2016) is a lanky and energetic wing with good leaping ability. He has good handle, attacks the rim aggressively, and makes good things happen with his high octane motor. Rendull Middleton (6’ 3, Wing, Orangeburg-Wilkinson, SC; 2016) is an workhorse who plays with great intensity and physicality. He is very strong on the boards and scores around the rim. Jalen Brown (6’ 5, Post Grad) is an all-around athlete with excellent leaping ability. He plays hard and made a strong impression on sides of the floor. He has four years of college eligibility. . Charvez Hobson (6’ 3, CG, Booker T Washington Magnet, AL; 2016) is an athletic and lengthy wing who can handle the ball and create his own shot. He was named Honorable Mention All-State for a tough BTW Magnet squad. Austin Strickland (6’ 4, Forward, Eagleville, TN; 2017) is an intelligent and facilitating wing with good leaping ability. He consistently knocked down mid-range jumpers and finished around the hoop.
2016 & 2017 Forwards
Randall Legros (6’ 8, Forward, Allatoona; 2016) is a late blooming big man with size and upside potential. His best ball is ahead of him, as he runs the floor well and crashes the offensive boards hard. He is at his best defensively, where he uses his length to protect the rim and alter shots. He played a significant role in Allatoona’s 31-1 record and State Title game appearance. Neeko Gainey (6’ 5, Forward, Gainesville, FL; 2016) is an active forward who aggressively attacks the basket and picks up a lot of buckets on follow-ups and second chance points. Jaylen Waters (6’ 5, Forward, Roswell; 2016) is an under the radar prospect who was limited to the final 10 games of senior year due to GHSA eligibility constraints. He exhibited good leaping ability and instincts in the paint, and has the ability to finish well at and above the rim. Chandler Davis (6’ 8, Forward; Salem; 2016) is a strong post player with good finishing ability in the paint. Plays with good intensity, leadership, and is big on the boards. William “LB” Jones (6’ 5, Forward, Windsor Academy; 2016) is a high flying forward who had several impressive dunks. He is a very good offensive rebounder and solid mid-range shooter. Francisco Mediavilla (6’ 7, Forward, Tampa Robinson, FL; 2016) is a promising forward with excellent length and leaping ability. He runs the floor very well for his size and finishes with authority. He was one of the top shot blockers in camp, blocking and altering numerous attempts. Averaged a double-double this past season.

2015 SEBA Atlanta All-Star Shootout (Recap and Top Performers)
The 2015 SEBA Atlanta All-Star Shootout was held September 19th on the campus of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. This 13th annual event featured a full capacity roster of 180 prospects from all areas of Georgia, as well as from the states of Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Delaware. The Shootout brought excellent exposure to all of the participants, as a large number of College Coaches from throughout the South were in attendance to evaluate and recruit the talent on hand.
The Camp consisted of a complete day of competition, development, inspiration, and exposure. During the morning session, the players participated in fundamental skills stations conducted by some of the state's top high school, travel ball, and skill development coaches. Following the morning stations, Courtney Brooks spoke to the players. Coach Brooks, who led Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy (SACA) to national prominence and State Titles in 2004 and 2006, spoke passionately to the camp regarding character, gratitude, faith, and achieving success in the game of life. Fresh off the inspiration, the players moved into 5-on-5 play, where they competed in three (3) full-court games with their respective camp team throughout the afternoon and early evening. The event concluded with a thrilling "Top 30" All-Star Game, which was decided on a final shot in double overtime. The excitement was a fitting finale to a fantastic day of basketball and a highly successful camp.

Very athletic lead guard who demonstrated an impressive all-around game. Uses quick first step and good handle to penetrate defense and create scoring opportunities for himself and teammates. Sees the floor well. Consistently knocked down the outside jumper. Good finisher with ability to finish at and above the rim. Has wiry strength and absorbs contact well.

Brosnan Cooks (6’ 4, Forward, Elba, AL; 2016) Physical and energetic forward who owned the boards. He plays with a good motor and seemed to be all over the floor making plays. Scored the ball when attacking the basket and created many second chance opportunities for his team on tips and offensive putbacks. Good defender with ability to match up with bigger forwards and smaller guards. Was named All-State as a Junior while leading Elba High to the Class AA Alabama State Championship Game.

Wil Chambliss (6’ 0, SG, Vidalia; 2016)
Scoring guard who knocked down three-point shots throughout the day. He was effective as both a spot up shooter and off the dribble. He also has the ability to put the ball on the floor and make good things happen off dribble penetration. Wil was a key player in Vidalia’s run to the Class AA Final Four last year as a Junior. Look for him to have a big senior year for the Indians and Coach Tom Dalley.

Chase Shook (6’ 9, Forward, Union County; 2016) Developing big man who had a good showing throughout the day. He rebounded well on both sides of the floor. He plays good position defense and effectively used his size to protect the rim and alter shots. Runs the floor pretty well for his size and has solid footwork in low post. Has visibly improved since his performance in the SEBA Camp last year. 4.0 GPA and above average SAT score will make him an attractive target of academically select programs.
Donald “DJ” Johnson III (6’ 0, PG, Harris County; 2016)
Complete guard with the ability to score and distribute. Has quick first step and blows by defender on penetration. Has good leaping ability and finishes well at the rim. Has a nice one-two pull-up jumper from the mid-range. Was named All-Region and All Bi-City as a Junior; look for to build off that and have a strong Senior campaign for a good looking Harris County squad.
Trentavious Jackson (6’ 0, Guard, Monroe–Albany; 2016)
Athletic guard who had an excellent showing at camp. Plays with great energy; He excelled taking the ball to the rim and knocking down the jumper. Gets to the basket quickly and is explosive at rim. Has good strength and finishes thru contact. Floor leader with great intangibles. All-Region performer as a Junior in 1-AAAA.
Xavier Johnson (6’ 4, Wing, South Gwinnett; 2016)
High flying and physically strong wing-forward who electrified the gym with several impressive dunks and blocked shots. Is a very good offensive rebounder and excels at scoring off putbacks. Plays bigger than height and is capable of effectively guarding taller players on defense. Showed ability to knock down mid-range jumper and put the ball on the floor.
Leroy Jones IV (5’ 8, PG, Berkmar; 2016)
Battle tested lead guard who excels on both sides of the ball. Top notch on-ball defender. Pressures ball handlers the length of floor and forces turnovers. On offense, he plays with great poise and is excellent at drawing defense and kicking out to open shooters. Shot the ball very well; consistently knocking down both the spot up and pull up 3 pointers.
Obina Ofodile (6’ 7, Forward, Duluth; 2016)
Highly athletic forward who is very effective around the rim. Threw down several impressive dunks off lobs and putbacks. Gets off the ground very quick for a player his size. Has great instincts on defense and blocked or altered numerous shots.
Joshua Faulkner (6’ 0, PG, Berkmar; 2016)
Quick and explosive guard; gets to the rim very well and knows how to finish. Gets good separation off the dribble and creates space for mid-range jumper. Is a tough on ball defender and has the tools to be a defensive stopper at the college level. Thrives in up tempo style of play. Joshua is a good student with 3.5 GPA in classroom.
Napoleon Harris (6’ 6, Wing, Monroe-Albany; 2016)
Athletic wing-forward with length; was very active on the boards and scored numerous baskets off offensive rebounds. Showed ability to score and finish strong thru traffic in paint. Plays good interior defense and can guard wings on perimeter. Was named All-Region as a Junior. Good student in classroom with 3.5 GPA. Bright future.
Robert Hill Jr. (6’ 9, Forward, Berkmar; 2016)
Strong inside presence who is comfortable in the paint and posting up. Has solid scoring moves on low block and finished consistently. Showed good hands and ability to catch passes even when off target. Passes well out of double team and finds open teammate. Showed ability and willingness to run the floor on break. Good potential.

2016 Guards
The Camp roster boosted a deep pool of talented perimeter players. In regards to point guards, one who impressed was Tracy Sailem (6’1, Jeff Davis; 2016). Sailem is a quick and high energy playmaker who creates offense, as well as being a lock down defender. Joshua Jones (6’ 1, Creekside; 2016) is a sparkplug floor general with good quickness and excellent passing ability. He plays with passion and leadership. Alex Jordan (6’ 1, Dodge County; 2016) is a high scoring guard with good handle and quick first step. He can create well off the dribble and has both quick release and range on his three point shot, as well as a 3.7 GPA in the classroom. Justin Hartfield (6’ 0, Greenbrier; 2016) is a constant scoring threat who brings a nice combination of athleticism and skill to his position. He also demonstrated ability to neutralize opposing guards with his on ball defense. Emeshaun Offord (6’ 0, Monroe – Albany; 2016) is a physical strong point guard who sees the floor very well demonstrated a good looking outside stroke. He will team up with Monroe teammate Trentavious Jackson to form one of the better backcourts in Middle Georgia. Hank Norton (6’ 0, Gordon Lee; 2016) is a skilled and smart guard with a high basketball IQ. He wore out the nets with his excellent outside shooting. Speaking of shooters, Cade Archer (6’ 1, SG, Cartersville, 2016) was one of the camp’s top marksmen. He has an excellent three point stroke and can put the ball on floor and hit the pull up jumper. Post Grad Joshuah Taylor (5’9, Northside Methodist Academy, AL) is a speedy playmaker and aggressive on ball defender. Kourtney Shakespeare (6’ 2, Shaw; 2016) showed an impressive and well-rounded offensive skill set and the ability to make his team better on both ends of the floor. Detrevin Johnson (5’ 9, Kell; 2016) is a quick and explosive lead guard who was impressive in creating for himself and others. Jovante Lee (6’ 1, Northview, AL; 2016) is an athletic and physical guard who attacks the basket and uses his body well to convert drives. He scored consistently throughout the camp and showed a solid outside shot to compliment his driving ability. Foster Houck (6’0, Homelife Academy, TN; 2016) is a pure point and floor leader. He sees the floor extremely well and was one of the top distributors in camp. Courtney Davis (5’ 9, Central, AL; 2016) is a sparkplug point guard who impacts the game in many ways. He uses his quickness to create scoring opportunities and is an active defender. Phoenix Roberts (5’ 10, Franklin County; 2016) is a good facilitator and does a good job drawing defense and hitting open teammates with the assist. Devontae Hedgespeth (6’ 0, Salem; 2016) is a floor general who does a nice job of running his team from the point guard position. He was one of the top defensive guards in the camp. Jeremiah Starks (6’ 0, Peachtree Ridge; 2016) is a lead guard with good size and a scorers mentality. He showed ability to create offense off the dribble as well as knock down the outside shot.

Not to be overlooked, the Camp’s Underclassman group also had some impressive guard talent. Adama Kpaan (6’ 2, Rabun Gap; 2018) has excellent potential and was one of the top sophomores in attendance. He is a very energetic and athletic player who gets to the rim with ease. He is a good athlete and as he continues to mature, has the chance to be a very nice prospect for next level. Stephen Darst (6’ 2, Tampa Jesuit; 2017) is a skilled combo guard who shoots the three ball well, and can finish at the rim. He plays with good awareness and has good court vision. Darius Giles (6’ 2, Arabia Mountain; 2017) showed a potent offensive game from both the outside and driving ball to rim, as well as good court vision. Tre-Jon Taylor (6’ 1, Mt. Zion; 2017) is a slashing guard with a nose for the ball and much potential. Jamal Buster (5’ 11, North Clayton; 2017) has a nice combination of strength and quickness and was effective in creating jumper off the dribble. He also made some nice plays on defense in creating turnovers. Karl Washington Jr. (6’ 1, Sandy Creek; 2017) is a long guard who demonstrated a good outside stroke and versatility on defense. Chandler Gibson (5’ 11, Monroe Area; 2017) is a good looking point guard who makes positive things happen with the ball in his hands. Has excellent handle which allows him to drive for layups and create for teammates with equal effectiveness.
2016 & 2017 Wings
At the Wing position, Kenny Ume (6’ 4, Wing, North Cobb) is a versatile player who presents matchup problems for opponents. He has an effective inside-out skill set which can be hard to defend. The All-Cobb County performer will play a leading role for a strong North Cobb team this coming season. Garrett Stewart (6’ 4, Northview, 2016) is a long and active wing who impressed with his defensive ability and play in the open court. K.J. Houston (6’ 5, Wing, Douglas County) is a player who combines good size and shooting ability. Look for him to only get better as he continues to develop his ball handling and adds weight. Post Graduate Terry James (6’ 5, Wing, Post Grad) is a player with excellent athleticism and intangibles. He excels in transition and had one of the camp’s most crowd pleasing moments when throwing down a two handed tomahawk dunk in traffic. He is currently available and has all four years of college eligibility. William “Kovi” Tate (6’ 4, Henry County; 2017) is a very active wing forward with good leaping ability. Finishes with authority and also has good passing ability for a forward. He made his mark on the defensive side as well with blocked shots and steals.

Jeremy Joyner (6’ 7, Charles Drew; 2016) is emerging forward and solid inside presence in the paint. He has a variety of scoring moves on the low block and runs the floor well for a big man, where he converted several fast breaks with layups and dunks. Jeremy was also one of the top rebounders in camp. Robert Kelly (6’ 7, Cumberland Christian; 2016) is talented but raw wing with much upside. He showed flashes of great potential and is definitely a prospect for coaches to keep a close eye on. Will Springer (6’ 7, Buford; 2016) is a big wing with a nice shooting stroke and ability to stretch the floor. He also looked good on defense, where he was active on the boards and plays good help defense. Will has a 3.7 GPA and very solid test scores that should be attractive to higher academic programs. Craig Ferguson (6’ 5, Central, AL; 2016) is an active wing-forward who showed ability to score around the rim and with both hands. He is an excellent student with a 26 ACT and could be a player for academic schools to monitor. Anpherney Doctrine (6’ 6; New Creation Christian Academy) is a developing 2017 talent with good upside.

Athletic guard who had an excellent showing at camp. Plays with great energy; He excelled taking the ball to the rim and knocking down the jumper. Gets to the basket quickly and is explosive at rim. Has good strength and finishes thru contact. Floor leader with great intangibles. All-Region performer as a Junior in 1-AAAA.
Xavier Johnson (6’ 4, Wing, South Gwinnett; 2016)
High flying and physically strong wing-forward who electrified the gym with several impressive dunks and blocked shots. Is a very good offensive rebounder and excels at scoring off putbacks. Plays bigger than height and is capable of effectively guarding taller players on defense. Showed ability to knock down mid-range jumper and put the ball on the floor.
Leroy Jones IV (5’ 8, PG, Berkmar; 2016)
Battle tested lead guard who excels on both sides of the ball. Top notch on-ball defender. Pressures ball handlers the length of floor and forces turnovers. On offense, he plays with great poise and is excellent at drawing defense and kicking out to open shooters. Shot the ball very well; consistently knocking down both the spot up and pull up 3 pointers.
Obina Ofodile (6’ 7, Forward, Duluth; 2016)
Highly athletic forward who is very effective around the rim. Threw down several impressive dunks off lobs and putbacks. Gets off the ground very quick for a player his size. Has great instincts on defense and blocked or altered numerous shots.
Joshua Faulkner (6’ 0, PG, Berkmar; 2016)
Quick and explosive guard; gets to the rim very well and knows how to finish. Gets good separation off the dribble and creates space for mid-range jumper. Is a tough on ball defender and has the tools to be a defensive stopper at the college level. Thrives in up tempo style of play. Joshua is a good student with 3.5 GPA in classroom.
Napoleon Harris (6’ 6, Wing, Monroe-Albany; 2016)
Athletic wing-forward with length; was very active on the boards and scored numerous baskets off offensive rebounds. Showed ability to score and finish strong thru traffic in paint. Plays good interior defense and can guard wings on perimeter. Was named All-Region as a Junior. Good student in classroom with 3.5 GPA. Bright future.
Robert Hill Jr. (6’ 9, Forward, Berkmar; 2016)
Strong inside presence who is comfortable in the paint and posting up. Has solid scoring moves on low block and finished consistently. Showed good hands and ability to catch passes even when off target. Passes well out of double team and finds open teammate. Showed ability and willingness to run the floor on break. Good potential.

2016 Guards
The Camp roster boosted a deep pool of talented perimeter players. In regards to point guards, one who impressed was Tracy Sailem (6’1, Jeff Davis; 2016). Sailem is a quick and high energy playmaker who creates offense, as well as being a lock down defender. Joshua Jones (6’ 1, Creekside; 2016) is a sparkplug floor general with good quickness and excellent passing ability. He plays with passion and leadership. Alex Jordan (6’ 1, Dodge County; 2016) is a high scoring guard with good handle and quick first step. He can create well off the dribble and has both quick release and range on his three point shot, as well as a 3.7 GPA in the classroom. Justin Hartfield (6’ 0, Greenbrier; 2016) is a constant scoring threat who brings a nice combination of athleticism and skill to his position. He also demonstrated ability to neutralize opposing guards with his on ball defense. Emeshaun Offord (6’ 0, Monroe – Albany; 2016) is a physical strong point guard who sees the floor very well demonstrated a good looking outside stroke. He will team up with Monroe teammate Trentavious Jackson to form one of the better backcourts in Middle Georgia. Hank Norton (6’ 0, Gordon Lee; 2016) is a skilled and smart guard with a high basketball IQ. He wore out the nets with his excellent outside shooting. Speaking of shooters, Cade Archer (6’ 1, SG, Cartersville, 2016) was one of the camp’s top marksmen. He has an excellent three point stroke and can put the ball on floor and hit the pull up jumper. Post Grad Joshuah Taylor (5’9, Northside Methodist Academy, AL) is a speedy playmaker and aggressive on ball defender. Kourtney Shakespeare (6’ 2, Shaw; 2016) showed an impressive and well-rounded offensive skill set and the ability to make his team better on both ends of the floor. Detrevin Johnson (5’ 9, Kell; 2016) is a quick and explosive lead guard who was impressive in creating for himself and others. Jovante Lee (6’ 1, Northview, AL; 2016) is an athletic and physical guard who attacks the basket and uses his body well to convert drives. He scored consistently throughout the camp and showed a solid outside shot to compliment his driving ability. Foster Houck (6’0, Homelife Academy, TN; 2016) is a pure point and floor leader. He sees the floor extremely well and was one of the top distributors in camp. Courtney Davis (5’ 9, Central, AL; 2016) is a sparkplug point guard who impacts the game in many ways. He uses his quickness to create scoring opportunities and is an active defender. Phoenix Roberts (5’ 10, Franklin County; 2016) is a good facilitator and does a good job drawing defense and hitting open teammates with the assist. Devontae Hedgespeth (6’ 0, Salem; 2016) is a floor general who does a nice job of running his team from the point guard position. He was one of the top defensive guards in the camp. Jeremiah Starks (6’ 0, Peachtree Ridge; 2016) is a lead guard with good size and a scorers mentality. He showed ability to create offense off the dribble as well as knock down the outside shot.

Not to be overlooked, the Camp’s Underclassman group also had some impressive guard talent. SEBA Atlanta College Showcase Top Performers (Recap - Part IV)

The 2015 Southeast Basketball Academy (SEBA) Atlanta College Showcase was held March 28 on the campus of Oglethorpe University. This 10th Annual SEBA Event featured 180 players from throughout Georgia and the entire South. The Camp was packed with College Coaches looking to evaluate and recruit players for their programs.
Here is the 4th and final report highlighting the camp's top prospects
Lennox Jones Jr. (6’ 3, SG, George Ranch, TX; 2015) – Well rounded guard prospect from the Lone Star State made his trip to Atlanta worthwhile with a good showing on both ends of the floor. Plays with excellent energy that is contagious to his teammates. Was very effective slashing to the rim and knocking down outside jumper. Very Active on defensive end where he picked up numerous steals and forced turnovers. Excellent student in classroom with “A” average and 24 ACT score.
Brosnan Cooks (6’ 3,
Forward, Elba, AL; 2016) – Talented inside-out forward with athleticism; plays with good energy on
both ends of the floor. Crashes the boards hard and creates many second chance
opportunities for his team. Averaged a double-double for Elba High and was
named Class 2A All-State as a Junior.
Brandon Powell (6’ 1,
SG, Harrison; 2015) – Power scoring guard who attacks the rim with aggression.
Uses strong frame to finish at the rim
and in paint. Has nice pull-up jumper from
mid-range and beynd the arc. Averaged 18
ppg on his way to All-Region honors as a senior.
Michael Hanson (6’ 0,
SG, Tri-Cities; 2015) –Knockdown three point shooter with deep range. Has the ability to get very hot from beyond
the arc. Works well within the flow of the offense.
Austin York (6’ 5,
Forward, Harrison; 2016) – Strong Forward that is effective on both lower
block and facing the basket. Has good footwork and uses strong frame to gain
position on defender. Has ability to
knock down the three point shot. Good rebounder. Excellent academic student in
classroom and will be a prospect that catches the attention of Elite academic
programs.
Michael Olmert (5’ 11, PG, Campbell; 2016) – Impressive
young point guard with excellent playmaking ability. Uses quickness to slice
through defense and create scoring opportunities for himself and for teammates.
Finishes very well around the rim and in traffic. Named All-Region in 3-AAAAAA
as a Junior.
Desmond Webb (6’ 3,
SG, Carrollton; 2016) – Smooth guard with scorers mentality; versatile
skill set allows him to score at the rim, mid-range, and from three point land.
Is strong on the drive and uses body to power through contact. Played key role
on Carrollton team that advanced to State Championship Game in Class AAAA as a
Junior.
Josh McKeever (5’ 10, PG, South Gwinnett; 2015) - Quick and athletic lead guard with pass first
mentality; good set-up man and playmaker. Strong on-ball defender.
Ari Zorns (5’ 9, PG,
Mt. Zion; 2015) – Sparkplug
playmaker with exceptional quickness. Handles the ball well; effective leading team
in half court and on the fast break. Has nice floater in lane over taller
players. Had strong senior season averaging 19 ppg and 6 assists on way to 1st
Team All-Region honors.
Aaron Reddick (6’ 7,
Forward, New Manchester; 2016) – Developing big man who made his presence
known in the post; is active and possesses above average athleticism. Was
effective with back to the basket and showed nice touch on turn around jumper. Block
or altered numerous shot attempts on defensive end. Good upside potential.

lead guard with excellent athleticism. Has explosive first step and is very

SEBA Atlanta College Showcase Top Performers (Recap - Part III)
The 2015 Southeast Basketball Academy (SEBA) Atlanta College Showcase was held March 28 on the campus of Oglethorpe University. This 10th Annual SEBA Event featured 180 players from throughout Georgia and the entire South. The Camp was packed with College Coaches looking to evaluate and recruit players for their programs.

| Darius Norris |
Darius Norris (6’ 2,
CG, Luella; 2015) - Guard who impressed with production and potential
throughout the camp. He is a knock-down spot up shooter from three-point line.
Can handle the ball and is physically strong for his position. Smart player
with good decision making ability. Sees the floor well and distributes ball to
teammates in scoring position.
Xavier Johnson (6’ 4,
Wing, South Gwinnett; 2016) - Strong, tough, and explosive forward who
finishes very well around the rim. Threw down several impressive power dunks in
5 on 5 games. Is a very good offensive
rebounder who provides second chance opportunities for his team. Demonstrated an effective mid-range
jumper.
Tom Inungu (6’ 8,
Forward, International Student, France; Prep) - Long and athletic forward
with raw talent. Shows spurts of being a very good player. Has good agility for
size and takes the ball to the rim well. Has solid mid-range jumper. Runs the
floor very well for a big man. Protects the rim on defense and had several nice
blocked shots when providing help. Will complete English language immersion
program in May and will have 4 years of college eligibility available.
Jordan Pulliam
(6’2, PG, Chestatee; 2015) - Very solid guard on both ends of the floor; Showed
ability to score from the outside and off penetration. Has nice passing skills
and high basketball IQ; moves without ball. Good rebounder from the guard spot;
Plays with intensity and hustle.
Demarcus Addie (6’2,
Guard, Manchester; 2016) - Highly athletic player who uses his speed and
leaping ability to make strong impact on both ends of the floor. Is very good in transition, both leading the
fast break or running lane. Very strong on ball defender. Named 2nd
team All-State in Georgia’s Class AA as a Junior. Bright future.
Stefan Kitchen
(6’ 4, SG, Grace Christian, FL; 2015)- Long and lean guard with well rounded
skill set; showed ability to score, distribute, and defend. Uses change of pace
moves well to get in the paint and uses his body well to shield himself from
defenders at the rim. Has Scorers
mentality and put up a lot of points on the day.
Devin Huffman (6’ 2,
CG, Norcross; 2015) – Strong lead guard with good size; plays with
intelligence and poise. One of the camp’s top passers; has very good court
vision and looks to set up teammates for scoring opportunities.
Jamarcus Brown (6’ 3,
Wing, Callaway; 2016) – Athletic slasher who plays with a good motor;
attacks the basket hard. Good defender on ball and in passing lanes. Shows willingness to make hustle plays and
get on the floor for loose balls.
DeSean Ware (5’ 11, PG, Pepperell; 2015) - Aggressive
playmaking Lead
guard who can score and distribute. Gets into the paint on drives and has can
finish over bigger players. Good decision maker and gets teammates involved. Named
1st Team All-Region in 5-AAA this past year.
Seth Culpepper (5’11, Guard, Gordon Central; 2016) –
Fundamentally sound guard with nice shooting stroke; knocked down the three ball consistently
throughout camp. Plays with high basketball IQ and moves well without the
ball.
Paul Miller (6’ 2, CG,
Mt. Zion; 2015) – Scoring guard who
creates well off the dribble; has a nice pull up jumper where he gets good
spacing from defender. Can pt the ball on the floor and score off penetration
to keep defense honest; Is a tough physical
on-ball defender. Averaged over 20 ppg this past season for Mt. Zion team that
won 24 games. Is a two time All-Region Selection.
Will Chambliss (5’
11, SG, Vidalia; 2016) – Versatile guard who made a positive impression;
showed good spot up shooting ability by
knocking down numerous three point shots off the pass. Also showed the ability
to put the ball on the floor and create for himself and teammates. Key player in Vidalia’s back to back
appearances in State Final Four.
Tommy Jones III (6’
3, Wing, Arabia Mountain; 2015) – Slasher who scored the ball well; plays
above the rim and had several impressive dunks. Runs the floor well and finishes
strong in transition.
Roderick Melton (6’1,
PG, Northview, AL; 2016) - Athletic
play maker with quickness who impressed coaches with passing ability. Good
penetrator who gets in lane and creates offense for teammates. One of the top
assist leaders in camp.
Evan Gillis (6’ 6,
Forward, AC Reynolds, NC; 2015) - Stretch Forward with inside-out game;
rebounded the ball well and solid interior defender.
Jervon Walker (6’ 5,
Wing/Forward, Laney; 2015) - Long
and active prospect with good athleticism; showed the ability to score in the
low post and on the wing. Runs the floor well on the fast break and knows how
to finish above the rim. Versatile defender capable of guarding multiple
positions.
Desmond Davis (5’ 9,
PG, Grayson; 2015) – Quick and compact guard with good strength. Did a fine
job of penetrating defense and setting up teammates. Good on-court leader; sees
floor well. Creates good separation on his dribble moves; nice step back jump
shot.
Ernest Patillo IV (6’
2, Wing, Calloway; 2016) – Physically strong and athletic wing who fearlessly
attacks the rim; Positions body well and uses strength to score in paint over
taller players; Excellent rebounder from the wing position. Plays with good energy.
CJ Baisden (6’3, SG,
South Paulding; 2015) – Bigger guard with strong build; shows good
leadership on the floor and controls tempo of game. Can score in all three zones. Excellent rebounder and solid all-around defender.
Has good court vision.

Prospect Report from SEBA Atlanta All-Star Shootout (Part II)
Here is the second part of the Camp Report from the 2014 Southeast Basketball Academy (SEBA) Atlanta All-Star Shootout held on September 13th at Oglethorpe University.
Chris Joyce (6’ 4, SG, Bishop Kenny, FL; 2016) – Scorer who displayed good perimeter skill combined with athleticism. Shot the ball well from the outside. Has a good feel for the game high basketball IQ. Had several nice dunks that were well received. Excellent rebounder for guard. Bright future.

Chris Joyce (6’ 4, SG, Bishop Kenny, FL; 2016) – Scorer who displayed good perimeter skill combined with athleticism. Shot the ball well from the outside. Has a good feel for the game high basketball IQ. Had several nice dunks that were well received. Excellent rebounder for guard. Bright future.
Fred Callaway (6’ 6, Forward, Tri-Cities;
2015) – Productive Forward with good size and touch around the
rim. Was an impact player on both ends of the floor. Holds his
ground and is strong finisher. Showed good court vision and the
ability to hit open teammate when double teamed.
Aaron Udell (5’ 11, CG, South Gwinnett;
2015) – Combo guard with good scoring capabilities; showed the
ability to attack the rim and finish strong. Good shooting stroke
and knocked down numerous shots from deep three point range.
Jackson Lenyear (5’ 10, PG, Berkmar; 2015)
– Lead guard who shot the ball extremely well from three point
land. Knocked down numerous treys off both the pull up and while
spotting up. Also showed good court vision and awareness, setting
up teammates for high percentage shot attempts.
Trip Day (6’ 7, Forward, Glenwood, AL; 2017) – Talented
young prospect with good size and length; Is versatile and
demonstrated a solid inside-out game on the offensive end. Active
defensive player with shot blocking ability. With continued
development, has the potential to be a very nice player at the
next level.
Jake Elliott (6’ 0, PG, Georgia Christian
School; 2015) – Floor general who is a quarterback on the
floor. Makes good decision with ball; consistently hit open
teammates for assists. Excellent outside shooter and can create
his own shot off the dribble. Uses change of pace moves well.
Named First team GISA All-State Player as a Junior. Elite student
in classroom with 4.0 GPA and 1270 SAT.
Demaree Walker (6’ 2, CG, Griffin; 2015) –
Scoring guard with length who can create his own shot. Has
quick first step and finishes well at the basket. Has good
mid-range pull-up jumper off the dribble. Was an All-Region
selection as a Junior.
Adam Saeed (6’ 5, Wing, Centennial; 2016)
– High rising wing who showcased his athleticism throughout
the camp. Had several impressive dunks in game play. He runs the
floor well and excels in transition.
DeSean Ware (5’ 11, PG, Pepperell; 2015) –
Lead guard who showed the ability to score and distribute.
Gets into the paint on drives and can finish. Good decision maker
and gets teammates involved.
Da’koda Lacey (6’ 4, Wing, Marietta; 2015) – Long and
athletic wing; consistently knocked down outside jumper and
displayed good slashing ability when taking it to the rim. Above
average defender who is very active. Runs floor well on the
break.
James Mays III (6’ 0, PG, Lovejoy; 2016) – Scoring
playmaker who shot the ball well off the dribble and while
spotting up. Smart player who makes good decisions with the ball
and plays within himself.
Adrian Thomas (6’ 2, Forward, McCallie; 2016) – Powerfully
built 220 lbs forward who is a natural floor leader. Has well
rounded skill set and plays with good intensity. Has good
defensive instincts and forced numerous turnovers. Finishes
extremely well through contact at the rim. Named All-Region for
McCallie (TN) as a Sophomore last year.
William Trevitt (6’ 7, Forward, Tattnall Square Academy; 2015)
– Fundamentally sound big man with good feel for the game. Has
solid footwork and the ability to stretch the defense with face-up
jumper. Solid post defender. Was named GISA All-State last season
as a Junior. Excellent student with 3.6 GPA and high test scores.
Kerney Lane (6’ 5, Forward, St. Pius; 2016) – Active
forward with balanced skill set and high basketball IQ.
Understands the game. Effective scorer in the paint and off the
drive. Runs the lane well in transition. Good interior defender
and rebounder. Not afraid to dive on the floor or take charges.
Standout in classroom with 3.8 GPA.
Nico Tolbert (6’ 1, PG, Hapeville Charter; 2015) – Speedy
lead guard with excellent court vision; one of top passers in the
camp who was constantly setting up opponents for scoring
opportunities. Is very adept at using his quickness to draw
defense and dish for the assist.
Kohl Roberts (6’ 6, Forward, Riverwood; 2016) – Physical
forward who is a defensive standout. Protects the paint well and
has good physical strength. Had several impressive blocked shots
throughout the camp. Strong rebounder on both ends of the court.
Emerging offensive skill set.
Ari Zorns (5’ 8, PG, Mt. Zion; 2015) – Sparkplug playmaker
with exceptional quickness. Has good ball handling skills and was
very effective leading the fast break and in penetrating the
defense in half court. Is physically tough and knows how to finish
in the lane over taller defenders.
Avery Riehn (6’ 4, SG, Bowling Green, KY; 2015) – Excellent
shooter with size; he worked the perimeter for three point shots
throughout the day. Good basketball IQ and uses screens well to
get clean looks. Very effective as a spot up threat in the half
court.
Danterrius Bray (6’ 3, SG, LaGrange; 2015) – Active guard
who makes positive impact with shooting and passing abilities.
Showed he could score in a variety of ways. Has good pull-up jump
shot. Dished out several nice assists to teammates for easy
buckets. Plays with good poise on the court.
Shundarious Jordan (6’ 5, Forward, Griffin; 2015) – Strong
and aggressive forward with knack for being around the ball.
Finishes consistently around the rim and is not bothered by
contact. Rebounded the ball extremely well and played excellent
interior defense. Will team with above mentioned Demaree Walker
and Zalan Richards to give Griffin a talented trio of Senior
leadership.
Jake Morris (6’ 1, PG, Lambert; 2015) – Pure point guard
who is an excellent facilitator. Quick first step allows him to
drive lane and draw defense to set up teammates for scoring
opportunities. Has good handle and is strong with the ball.
Displayed consistent mid-range and three point jumper. Strong
academic profile with 3.5 GPA.
Quinton Brooks (6’ 3, Wing, Mt. Zion; 2015) – Athletic wing
with quickness; plays with good energy. One of the camps top
defensive players; focused on playing excellent on-ball defense.
Slasher who is at his best when driving to rim; but also has good
enough jumper to keep defense honest.
Christopher Rogers (6’ 5, Forward; Tri-Cities; 2016) –
Rapidly improving forward who is a good scorer in the paint; is
mobile and very active on the floor. Fundamentally sound. Crashes
boards hard and scored on numerous putbacks.
Reece Anderson (6’ 1, SG, Chapel Hill; 2016) – Athletic
combo guard who plays with super energy. Has good ball handling
ability and dribble moves. Slashes through gaps for driving layups.
Defensively, he is very active. Puts good pressure on ball
handlers and in passing lanes.
Yancy St. Germain (5’ 11, CG, Paulding County; 2015) –
Scoring combo guard with deep three point range and quick release.
Has the ability to put up points in bunches. Uses change of pace
moves well and has good floater in the lane.
Deshaun Wilkenson (6’ 4, SG, Effingham County; 2016) –
Skilled prospect with lanky build. Has a polished game with good
perimeter skills. Shot the ball very well from the three and
showed the ability to score in the lane.
Braxton Thomas (5’ 10, PG, Dalton; 2015) – Playmaker with
ability to distribute and score. Has nice floater in the lane. Is
a good full court defender. Forced several turnovers with
aggressive on ball pressure. Selected as an All-Region player
during Junior year.
Jordan Atkins (6’ 5, Wing, McCallie, TN; 2015) – Good
looking wing with inside-out capabilities. Consistently knocked
down jumper from wing and converted on drives to the rim. Was
assertive in using his size advantage to post up smaller
opponents on the block. Excellent rebounder from the wing. Good
upside potential.
