Date Announced for 2013 SEBA Atlanta College Showcase Camp

The 2013 Atlanta Spring College Showcase, presented by the Southeast Basketball Academy (SEBA), will be held March 23rd on the campus of Oglethorpe University.

This Annual SEBA Event, now in its 8th year, is one of the nation's most highly regarded spring basketball exposure camps for Unsigned Seniors (2013 grads) aspiring to play college basketball. The camp is also open to Juniors from the Class of 2014, and Class of 2015 (Sophomores) who played varsity ball this season, as well as Prep-Post Grad Players and JUCO Sophs looking to move on to a Four Year College. Players not invited directly by the SEBA staff should have the recommendation of their school or travel ball coach.

Many of the Top NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, and JUCO College Programs throughout the South will be in attendance to evaluate prospects. Several recruiting publications will also be covering the event. Over 65+ College coaches attended last year's camp, resulting in numerous college opportunities for the players in attendance. The Georgia College Basketball Coaches Association (GABCA) will be holding their annual Spring Meeting and Social in conjunction with this camp.

The event will consist of 5-on5 Full Court Scrimmages (3 Game minimum), skills stations, Senior and Underclassman All-Star Games. All players with also receive a profile in the College Coaches Packet and receive SEBA Reversible Jersey.

Kell's Bryant Scores 50 Pts; grabs 35 rebounds in record night



Grant Bryant accepts Player of Game Award from SEBA Director William LoPresti at the SEBA Atlanta Hoop Festival.

Kell High School's Grant Bryant (6' 7", Forward, 2014) had an outstanding performance on Tuesday evening, scoring 50 points and pulling down 35 rebounds in the Longhorns 94-93 victory over Osborne.

Bryant was recently named "Most Outstanding Player" in the SEBA Atlanta Hoop Festival played over the Christmas Break. He also participated with his Kell teamates in the SEBA Atlanta Fall League played in the Pre-Season months.

This young man has excellent potential and has the chance to be a top notch player at the next level. Keep working hard Grant!
