SEBA's Jay Bowyer has played a huge role in Maryville College's strong start to the 2015-16 season. The Sophomore standout guard out of Walton High School in Cobb County, is averaging 13 ppg in scoring, while dishing out an impressive 7.5 assists per game for the Scots. Jay is also averaging over 5 rebounds per game and 2 steals.

Maryville is 5-1 on the early season, including a upset victory over Nationally ranked Emory University. Jay just narrowly missed a triple double in the team's win on Nov. 21, scoring 17 pts, 8 rebounds, and dishing 9 assists. He had a huge performance in last night's 110-105 win over Johnson (TN) where he scored a career high 20 points and dished out 13 assists.

Maryville has also received good contributions from a stellar freshman recruiting class of SEBA alums, including guards Joshua Brooks (Tri-Cities) and Dante Richitelli (Etowah), and wing/forwards  Dante Hoppa (Naples, FL) and Emier Bowman (Dalton).

We are very proud of Jay and how the success he is seeing. Keep up the hard work. The best is yet to come!
