Maryville College standout Eryk Watson, a SEBA alum and a graduate of Kennesaw Mountain High School in Cobb County, has been named a Pre-Season All-American by The Sporting News Magazine in their September 2010 issue.
During 81 games in his Maryville career, the 6’3” guard has deposited 1,316 career points averaging 16.8 points per game. Watson has been named to the All-Great South Athletic Conference team on three occasions after earning GSAC Freshman of the Year honors in 2007-08. Eryk was named Pre-Season All-American by D3hoops.com prior to his junior campaign where he finished the season throwing down 17.1 points a game and shooting 82% from the free-throw line. Watson has helped the Scots achieve a 67-15 record over the past three seasons while earning three consecutive trips to the NCAA post-season.
